1. After reserving the varieties that you want using the Secure
Order
Form, we'll need a copy of your Import Permit (with an
import number on it which you've obtained from your Department
of
Agriculture) faxed to us at 707-768-2040, or emailed. This allows for
our plants to
be accepted into your country. (An
Import Permit is not
necessary for Japan, Macau or the European Union.)
2. We take your Permit to our Agriculture Department
along with:
a. the quantity of plants,
b. your ship-to address,
c. the means of transportation and name of carrier (U.S.
Global Express Mail
unless you choose some other means),
d. US$35 for the phytosanitary
inspection and Certificate (this fee
will be
added to your order). The Certificate then goes in the box with
the plants
at ship time.
3. The customer is responsible for paying international shipping fees
and our handling fee, which will all be quoted before the order
is
confirmed. Also note that your
own country may have an import
tax which you'll have to pay before the plants are released to
you out of customs.
4. We have no minimum order.
5. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.
PayPal is accepted for some international orders.
6. We've never had a problem, but because of the high cost, we cannot be
responsible for replacement of any part of international orders.
The customer assumes all risk and responsibility.
