Blank Greeting Cards
We offer our own PhotoCards in blank format
either in
sets of 5 different varieties (our choice, $18), or individually ($4
each). These cards are made from our own photos which are placed
on medium weight archival quality cardstock and scissor-trimmed with
scalloped edges. Each card is unique and their white 5 3/4 x 4
3/8 envelopes are trimmed to match.
Mention on the order
form if there's a particular variety you want. Shipping
and handling are included in the purchase of these cards (but not tax,
when mailed to California addresses.)
We also offer computer enhanced handmade cards by local artisan

S.
Benjamin, owner and operator of Blue Chair Press in Blue Lake,
California. Elaine writes, "The natural beauty of the area has been a
strong design factor in most of the wedding invitations done in the
studio
and they often become greeting cards in the line. A new element is the
faux stamp, created by scanning the artist's block prints, lithographs,
and
paintings, and then manipulating them in the computer." Click here for

All of the cards below are blank inside, ready for your own
greeting. They also look wonderful when framed. The thumbnail images
below do
not show the exquisite detail, so click on them for larger images. All
cards are mailed separately from plant orders. Prices below include
shipping and handling. California destinations will have to add
7.25%
sales tax. Large order discounts are available. To order, use the secure

Rose Note Cards
This set of 6 printed blank note cards was designed especially for
Amity
Heritage Roses, capturing the very heart of the rose in an etching from
the
1800's. The colors were added in the computer, with hours spent on each
variation, blending and overlaying shades. Each card,
printed on quality creamy-white medium weight cardstock, measures 5.5 x
4.25 inches and comes one of each color (with envelopes) in a clear
plastic
box. A card is included stating the contents and "posted" with the
signature Blue Chair Press faux stamp in the upper right-hand corner.
$12.00 for the set of 6 cards.
Peach Antique Roses Card
The close-in view from the note card above was then turned into a faux
"Antique Roses" stamp and mounted on a multi-layered peach and apricot
colored card. 5 x 7 inch card, includes a blank insert and envelope:

Frogs and Dragon Fly Card
Another faux stamp, featuring the artist's linoleum block design of a
dragonfly, is mounted onto a card with three watchful frogs, printed
from
an antique letterpress block in the studio's collection. 5 x 7 inch
card,

Rose Petal Card
This "work of art" card uses a block print carved by the artist of a
bud
vase with two heart-shaped flowers, printed onto translucent vellum,
layered over a paper with real rose petal inclusions, and finished off
with
a knotted satin ribbon. Handmade 5 x 7 inch card, includes a blank
insert
and envelope: $5.00 each
Pink Heritage Roses Card
This card highlights a faux "Heritage Roses" stamp created from an
etching from the 16th century. The stamp is set atop multiple layers of
pink-toned paper. 5 x 7 inch card, includes a blank insert and
envelope:
